Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and actress best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Following that, she performed on Broadway for a number of productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner became big in the National Theatre. She released her album It's too late for Tina that in the same year. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was as Griselda in God's Little Acre which was a 1958 film. It received wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. When she was an undergraduate at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her work across Broadway TV and Hollywood playing more serious roles, as opposed to her perception of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's made a name as a director on several famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August in 1965. Her family then moved to Toronto for her early years. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She is a resident of Vancouver ever since.
