Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, an American-Canadian singer and songwriter. She has released over 20 albums of studio work. DiFranco describes her music as folk-rock and alternative, but it also has influences from punk, hip-hop, and jazz. Ani Difranco has been widely considered to be a symbol of feminist music. In the year 1990 she was one of the first artists to create her own record label. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23 1970 the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco The couple had been in contact while at in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The parents of her mother and father were both from Montreal origin. Ani DiFranco composed and performed 32 Flavors. The song debuted in 1995 on the sixth studio album Not a Pretty Girl. This track appears in the soundtrack to the Canadian romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate from 1999. DiFranco apologized for holding a conference in Louisiana at an old slave plantation. She cancelled it however many (including this paper) were not able to sense any regret. DiFranco issued an additional apology just a few weeks after. Her name is associated with her Little Folksinger music, but she has worked with several artists and genres from Pete Seeger to Chuck D. The place she lives is New Orleans. Ani has the name Kristen Ford. When she was 14, she had begun singing her own tunes. They performed at coffeehouses, bars, and in the streets throughout her teenage years. DiFranco was a student at Buffalo State College after graduating at 16 from Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. The new baritone she got was created by custom Alvarez, made by Chrys Johnston who at that time worked as an Alvarez Artist Representative. The guitar is equipped with their System 600 amp and is entirely made of solid woods. This includes a cedar-top mahogany body and sides that feature an ebony-fretboard. She lives in New Orleans, with her family: husband and two kids. Lefty is their dog pet who is with them when she speaks.
